Acne and pimples are caused by clogged pores, overgrowth of bacteria, excessive sebum production and inflammation which again are caused by hormonal changes, wrong food habits, stress and even improper skin care. In nfact skin problems are sometimes a reaction to cosmetic ingredients like mineral oil, petrolatum or parrafin. Avoid any products containing these ingredients as they will only clog your pores. Also avoid harsh products and cleansing products containing for example alcohol, as they will strip your skin of oils, and this will only cause the oil glands to work overtime to compensate for the loss of natural oil. Result: even worse and greasier skin caused by dehydration and lack of natural oils.
